Shipwreck

This is a picture of the remains of the 'Santa Maria de Luján', an argentine merchant ship that crashed into rocks in July 21st 1965 in Punta del Este. The surrounding beach is called 'Playa El Emir' (El Emir Beach), due to an old hotel named so which overlooks such beach. Besides the ship, those rocks are responsible for killing some daredevil surfers who insist in surfing near them.
